How I Got Here...
Two passions brought me to equine nonprofit bookkeeping: a love for numbers and an unwavering dedication to horses. Through years of involvement with equine rescues, I’ve witnessed the incredible heart and commitment of nonprofit founders who pour everything into their mission.
These remarkable women know every detail of each horse’s journey—their quirks, their healing progress, their favorite treats. Yet when board meetings roll around or grant applications are due, they often feel paralyzed by the financial reporting requirements. It’s not a lack of intelligence or dedication that holds them back; it’s simply the absence of specialized support in an area that feels foreign and overwhelming.
That’s where I found my calling.
